Put a clip at the top of your head, then pin the veil in front of the clip using a straight pin.

Many ladies wear a clips on the sides of the veil to hold it in place. These can be clipped in front of or behnd the ears. A clip behind the ear can hold loose hair as well as the veil.

The veil can be left just pinned on the side like this.

It is best to secure
your veil at the nape with something adjustable like a safety pin. Some ladies may want to sew in a snap once they found the fit that works for them.
