This is a basic bun and works well with middle length hair. You can try it with layered
hair as well. Remember, if you are growing hair out, a hair net
will keep loose hair in place. Don't be discouraged if your hair pokes
out some. A good heavy hair net works wonders.

Brush hair and pull it back into a low ponytail.

Now start twisting the tail.

As you twist the tail,
put hair pins in your hair to secure the bun. Continue to put hair pins
in the hair as you circle the bun and shape it into a roll.

Tuck the end of the tail under the bun. You can re-adjust the hair pins to make them a little tighter if you need to.
