Quaker Jane is a very encouraging site! Meet Jane and read about dressing Plain in modern America.  A Christian Home has MANY links to articles on the subject of modesty. Lots of other interesting things for a Christian home maker on this site as well.  Candle on the Hill has the best fitting modest and plain dress patterns I have found.  Christian Coverings also offers ready-made veils and coverings at reasonable prices.

Home of lovely crocheted caps -- the Lisette and the Sara.  Cover Your Hair is a Jewish covering site with various styles, mostly colorful scarves and headbands. They have very high quality solid color crocheted snoods here!  Graceful Threads makes simple, modest clothing for women and girls. They also have some ready-made. Modest Swimwear Solutions has modest swim suit PATTERNS for those who want to make their own modest bathing suits. They also sell ready-made suits. Ringger Clothing has classic modest clothing for girls and women. Very well made. Katie's Mercantile - Check this site for beautiful, inexpensive, hand made, and ready to ship modest clothing. Signing Time produces sign language (ASL) DVDs for babies and children. We have used these with great success with our developmentally delayed non-verbal child.
