HOLIDAY CLOSING UPDATE All sewn items will be set to "out of stock" beginning Monday, December 12. Hair pins and other non-sewn items already on hand may still be ordered through the holidays. UPDATE: I need to fill in for a friend as a cook for a week, so have changed the re-open date to Monday, January 16, 2012. I will begin sewing again then.

Turn around time of orders is running 4 weeks presently.
I WILL BE GONE THE FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER. The store and ordering will remain open, but sewing and shipping will be delayed. Sewn items ordered between Aug 31st and Sept 9th will likely be shipped early October. Orders of solely non-sewn items (hair pins, patterns, etc.) made during that time will be shipped Monday, Sept 12.

I am all caught up, for the most part, but many orders have rolled in since I re-opened last month. Therefore, turn around time of orders is running 2 to 3 weeks presently.

As you have probably noticed, I have had to extend the shut-down time of the store due to some unforeseen circumstances.
Thankfully I got the Irish sewing finished in the nick of time and my daughter safely to Spain. I am still catching up on back orders, but hope to be done and everything shipped this Monday, July 11.
The ordering ability on the website is still closed. You may still browse the site, but there will be no place for you to add items to your cart! I HOPE to reopen the store on July 11th.

Hello friends! It has been a busy winter and spring here, but things have finally let up a little. I am still sewing Irish dance costumes on the side, and have a few items to finish before July 1st. Also, one of my girls leaves for Spain for a month on July 1st, so I am trying to get her all ready (sewing a few last minutes needs). I am sewing on outstanding Plain & Simple orders as quickly as I am able.... I shipped 12 packages Monday, 8 yesterday, and 5 more go out today.
Therefore, until I am completely caught up on sewing and shipping, I have shut down ordering ability on the website. You may still browse the site, but there will be no place for you to add items to your cart! I plan to reopen the store on July 1st. Also note that if you are presently waiting on an order, your ship date may not be until next Friday, June 30th.

We had a two week long health crisis with my little boy. Two all-nighters at the ER, plus multiple MD appts have set me WAY behind in filling orders!
Thankfully, he is all better now and I am slowly working on catching up. I still have several outstanding orders left from February that should ship this week. I am hoping I can get completely caught up by next week. Once again, just "shooting the alligators closest to the boat."
