Shipping Information
April showers bring May flowers... and apparently it brings USPS rate hikes as well! Like May of 2007, our United States Postal Service will be increasings postage rates next month. That means, unfortunately, I must raise our rates as well. Rates will increase May 7th.
If you need your order by a certain date, please contact me. I will work with you, and often can bump your order up if need be.
If your order consists of only non-sewn items (patterns, hair accessories, etc.), it will be shipped next business day.
We ship using USPS Priority Mail only, which takes 2 to 3 days to arrive once shipped. We ship only on weekdays - we are closed Saturdays and Sundays.
NEW POLICY! Shipping costs for orders over $50 have been adjusted to include signature confirmation and/or insurance. If you would like either on orders less than $50 (US shipments only), go here for shipping options:
International orders over $50 will ship with insurance as well (automatically calculated in the shopping cart at check out).
Shipping Cost
Shipping cost is based on your order total. See our shipping chart below. Shipping will be automatically calculated in the shopping cart when you check out.

If you are ordering from outside of the United States, the basic shipping charge is $12/$16.
For international orders over $50, shipping cost is $25 to include insurance and for Canadian orders over $50, shipping is $20.
If shipping is higher due to the weight of your order or your locality, I will calculate the shipping for your order and send you a PayPal bill for any remaining charges that apply. It is our desire to ship out your coverings as soon as we receive your order. That being said, we are a family owned and run business and our desire is seldom achieved. We do our best to have orders out within three weeks (15 working days), but your order could take up to 4 weeks to reach you. Besides weekends, we have regular store closing times - see our
Store Schedule. Orders may be placed during our off times, but orders will not be processed or filled until we reopen. Orders placed during closed times will therefore be delayed in shipping. When closing times are coming up, we will post an announcement on the Home Page so you can order before hand.
If you have a need for your coverings by a certain time, feel free to contact us. Through the years we have learned to not promise shipping times, but we will do our best to accommodate your needs. We cannot, however, at this time do overnight or other expedited shipping methods.
Please note that special orders will take more than two weeks and exchanges can take up to three or more weeks as we fill orders before we do exchanges.
International orders do take longer. Knowing this, we do our best to have them shipped as soon as we can. Please note the information about international funds on the Policy Page.
