PAYMENTS: All payments must be in US funds. If paying with a Money Order, it MUST be a US money order, drawn on a US bank, in US funds (clearly marked as payable in US Dollars).

PrayerCoverings is our web address, but our legal business name is Plain & Simple Headcoverings. Please make your check or money order out to Bayley Thompson OR Plain & Simple Headcoverings.

RETURNS & REFUNDS: We offer refunds on an individual case basis. Contact us WITHIN ONE WEEK of receiving your order explaining the situation. The item you want to return must be UNUSED and in resaleable condition. We reserve the right to refuse a refund.

If your refund has been approved, mail the item back to us. Return shipping costs are your responsibility and are not refundable. Please package in a suitable, well sealed box. Coverings not properly shipped and subsequently damaged cannot be refunded. Refunds are given for items returned within 30 days after our ship date. We will not accept any returned item after 30 days.

After receiving and inspecting your return, we will refund your order total minus the original shipping cost that I paid to the USPS to ship your order AND a $5 restocking fee. Shipping costs are not refundable under any circumstances.

We cannot refund a credit card, but will mail you a check MINUS our shipping cost and the $5 restocking fee.

Please understand that (in addition to our shipping expense) we must withhold the $5 flat rate restocking fee on any returned items to cover the costs of doing business. Although we want our customers to be very happy with every item they order from Plain & Simple, occasionally we receive a request to return something because the customer did not fully read the item details or our fabric descriptions and ordered erroneously. This takes up a great deal of time on our part both to ship the item and then deal with the return. So do please read well the descriptions of our coverings, sizes, & fabrics, and always feel free to email me with any questions BEFORE you order.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS:
* Custom made items or clearance specials are not returnable and will not be refunded.
* Due to the unfortunate dishonesty of some, CDs and sewing patterns are not returnable and will not be refunded.



EXCHANGES: If the covering you purchased does not fit or will not otherwise work for you, we do offer an exchange policy. Contact us WITHIN A WEEK of receiving your order and let us know the reason for the exchange and what you wish to exchange for. Ship the original UNUSED covering (must be in resaleable condition) back to us with a note that includes your name, address, and exchange choice. You must also include $5 for shipping for us to send you the new covering.

We do not exchange used coverings. Be careful to package the covering in the package it came in or something similar so as not to damage it. Traditional pleated coverings need to be shipped in a box, not an envelope.

Note: Exchanges can take two weeks or longer to ship. We do not exchange custom made items or clearance specials.


INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:
Due to the difficulty in processing international Money Orders, non-US orders must be paid for with PayPal in US funds only!

All funds for all orders must be in US currency.

AS OF 4/16/07 WE NO LONGER TAKE INTERNATIONAL MONEY ORDERS AT ALL.

Non-US money orders take weeks to clear my bank, even if made in US funds, also there are large fees required to cash them. It is therefore no longer feasible for me to take International money orders.


STORE HOURS AND SCHEDULE:
We are closed weekends and certain weeks during the year. Orders may be made at these times, but we do not sew, answer emails, fill orders, or ship on weekends.


Please keep in mind that our coverings are all hand made and that we are a family owned business. Our goal is not to make money but rather to offer a service. We have to work hard to balance our inventory and finances. It is our desire to assist you in getting a covering that works best for you. If we do not have what you are looking for we are more then happy to offer names of other companies that may be able to make what you need.
