Our desire is to assist you in the best way we can with your Christian covering needs. We also have aprons, prairie bonnets, black stockings, handkerchiefs, sewing patterns, and hair accessories for managing long hair. Please note that we do not sew, answer email, fill orders, or ship packages on weekends. We do business Mondays through Fridays only.
Plain and Simple Headcoverings was begun over ten years ago when Alicia Scott saw a great need in the Christian community. Many Christian women feel convicted to wear a head covering (also known as the headship veiling) as taught in 1st Corinthians 11, but they often have a difficult time finding the right headcovering for their needs or situation. It was her hope that this site would be a ministry to women by providing access to ready made coverings. Bayley Thompson continues this vision today. She bought Plain-n-Simple from Alicia in January 2007, and continues to add new styles and expand the site to meet the needs of all covering women.
