I love most of your headcoverings and I really enjoyed the "how to make a bun" section. I have uncut hair and I often have a hard time doing it, and my hair is getting so thick and certain ways I do my hair it hurts. I am sure that those of you who have long, thick hair can understand that. I especially liked the flat bun and so did my grandmother. I thank you for having such helpful tips on your site.

A sister in west Texas a subburb called Sand Springs, outside of Big Spring. Mother of 2 grown daughters, 3 angels in heaven, a wonderful husband, and 3 lovely grandchildren. I very much enjoy your site. Have a blessed day, With the Lord's Love

I am like one of the other sisters in that my church and none of my friends or co-workers wear coverings. I have felt the leading of the Lord for quite some time regarding this. To the point that my "before-meeting" prayers even felt wrong because I felt like I should be covered in some way. The church we take my Mom to is general Baptist and most of the ladies wear pants to church. But I have felt conviction about that too. So I started looking online for answers and found this site and some others like it. I am very comfortable around the Amish in Marion, Ky, where my Mom and Sister live and often buy from Yoder's Variety Store there. Recently I purchased a pair of wonderfully comfortable leather shoes there. I started making myself some jumpers to wear and took some plain white or tan button-down ladies shirts and cut them off so I could add a slip bottom on them. As soon as I can ditch these jeans the better I will feel. I work in a donut shop run by Apostolic Oneness Pentacostals and they all wear dresses but not coverings. We have been saved for 14 years and have seen a lot in the churches that isn't for us. I don't know where to turn to anymore. So we just take Momma to her Baptist church and hope that someday God will steer us to a decent, caring church. Please pray for us. I will pray for your family and ask the Lord to bless you real good! Thank you so much.

I am in Kentucky for college and I am engaged. I too have been wondering about head coverings after reading carefully 1 Corithians 11, but I know no one in this area or at church that wears them. I came across your site looking for information about head coverings. This site has been a tremendous help giving me courage and a new view about the matter. Thank you and God bless.

I am brand new to the idea of covering, but have been feeling the nudge of the Lord in this regard... which is interesting since no one at my church or any of my friends cover! Please pray for me as I seek His will in this matter. I also couldn't help but notice your youngest little sweetie, and see that he has some similarities to my own dear Millen. She is 15 yo and just an absolute delight. You can see pictures of her at my blog: http://tomatosoupcake.blogspot.com/ warmest wishes to you all

I stumbled across your page, because I am helping my Brethren friend who is getting married in a few weeks find a head covering for her wedding. I sent her the link to your site. Your veils are very beautiful! I personally go to an AG church, so we do not wear head coverings but I respect those who do. I just came back from the Christian music fest "Creation" with my 6 year old son. I saw many different people - race, style and denomination all come together and worship or King Jesus. It blessed my heart!
