This design can sometimes be seen in photos of Mennonites from the 1800's.
It has a full brim with a small gathered crown - for wearing your bun up high. We sew a bow across the nape and it comes with cut satin ribbon ties.
A beautiful covering that would be a good choice for ladies who want a style that looks a little different from the traditional coverings seen today. A favorite of today's Plain Quakers as well. This cap can be used by re-enactors as it is period correct (but machine sewn).
