For this bun, you will need a large barrette, 3 large bobby pins, 3 or 4 hair pins, and a couple regular bobby pins.
I have uncut hair, but it is not very long and it is thin. A hair net is overkill for my bun. |

Pull hair back into a ponytail and secure with the large barrette, upside down. This can be at the nape, or a bit higher for a higher bun. |

Pull your hair up and fold it around your left hand. |

Push the bun to the head and secure with a large bobby pin in at the top right side. Put another in at the middle on the left, then the third at the bottom near the barrette on the right. |

Fan the bun out across the back of the head. |

Using the hair pins, pin down at the top only. |

The regular bobby pins can be used at the sides of your hair behind your ears if needed. |

I spray my hair well with hairspray and when dry, on goes my covering. |
