Hello & greetings to you all in the name above all names, Jesus Christ! I am Bayley (aka Pilgrim Hen) and I am the new owner and proprietor of Plain & Simple Headcoverings. We re-opened on February 28, 2007. Thank you for your encouragement and support!
Plain & Simple offers Mennonite, Plain, and not-so-plain head coverings and prayer veilings of various styles at affordable prices. Our desire is to assist you in the best way we can with your Christian covering needs. We also have aprons, prairie bonnets, black stockings, handkerchiefs, sewing patterns, and hair accessories for managing long hair.

A new year, a new veil... the Gathered Long Veil - a Plain-n-Simple design. We also now carry Hat Pins and Shawl Pins.

Like in May of last year, our United States Postal Service will be increasing postage rates next month. That means, unfortunately, we must raise our rates as well. Rates will increase May 7th.

Please note that we do not sew, answer email, fill orders, or ship packages on weekends. We ship and do business Mondays through Fridays only.
Plain and Simple Headcoverings was begun by Alicia Scott over ten years ago when she discovered a great need in the Christian community. Many Christian women feel convicted to wear a head covering (also known as the headship veiling) as taught in 1st Corinthians 11, but they often have a difficult time finding the right headcovering for their needs or situation. It was her hope that this site would be a ministry to women by providing access to ready made coverings.
